Good improv encourages a very positive, supportive space in which it not only becomes an arena of creativity and wit but a foundation for routinely discovering your own artistic impulses. Only in improv are you the writer, the director and the performer and it all starts from simply saying 'yes and'... Once the tools are given to the student, they will then be able to realize their own strengths and challenges as a performer and what it truly means to be an ensemble: many minds acting as one. It also demonstrates a great philosophy towards art and life in general if considered. Perfect for young adults, who have the energy and are developing a passion for whatever they consider is important in life; expressed!

Julian Frid is an award winning actor who has studied at the prestigious George Brown Theatre School and has taken a very active role in the Toronto Improv community. Julian has taken a leadership role in the Canadian Improv Games, Canada's National Improv HS festival, trained at the Impatient Theatre Company studying longform improvisation, and is an active member of several improv performance teams. Julian has performed professionally and with community theatres in the Golden Horseshoe area and Toronto.

Lisa Marie DiLiberto is the Artistic Director of FIXT POINT THEATRE, an international professional touring company. Lisa Marie is also the the Artistic Coordinator of Arts4All with Jumblies Theatre in Toronto. Lisa Marie's most recent training has been in mask, vaudeville, character and clown at Ecole Philippe Gaulier, an international school of physical theatre in Paris, France. Lisa Marie is an alumnus of Second City in Toronto and a graduate of George Brown Theatre School. FIXT POINT THEATRE has toured original work across Canada, to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in Scotland, to the Isle of Whyte in England, and to theatres in Graz and Vienna, Austria and to the Prague International Festival in the Czech Republic.

A Triple Threat is someone who can act, sing, and dance. This acting/ singing/ dancing workshop will give you a taste of being a "Triple Threat"! The day will be split into 3 amazing workshops where you will hone your skills. Each performer will have an opportunity to work on a song from a musical, learn some dance choreography, and work on an acting scene. Whether you are a singer, actor, or dancer, or you just want to be, this is the workshop for you! Grades 2 - 8
